It is often the first question before taking the plunge: how much does a custom figurine made from a photo actually cost? The short answer: from 18€ to 45€ depending on size, delivered in raw resin, ready to paint or display as is. Price depends on size first
At Minivatar, the price of a human figurine is set by its size. Four formats are available, from the 54mm that fits your tabletop games to the 180mm display centerpiece.

Whatever the format, the style you pick does not change the price: Knight, Cyberpunk, Super Hero or any of the 15+ styles in the library, it is the same rate. Shipping costs are not included and are calculated at checkout based on your destination.
What that price includes
Behind these rates, there is more than just a printed object. Every order includes:
- The generation of your figurine from your photo, with a 2D preview in under 3 minutes
- A 3D model prepared by our team within 24 business hours after validation
- HD resin printing in our French workshop, on a 14K SLA printer
- Reinforced packaging with custom-fit padding for shipping
And one point that matters for trust: your photo is deleted after generation. It is used to create your figurine, nothing else.
A quick reminder when working out your gift budget: each figurine represents a single person (or a single pet). For a couple or a team, count one figurine per person.
Busts and pet figurines: 18€ or 31€
Busts, designed with painters in mind, and dog or cat figurines are only available in 54mm and 110mm. Their budget is therefore simple: 18€ in 54mm, 31€ in 110mm. The 150 and 180mm sizes are reserved for full-body human figurines.
The hand-painted option: 129€ or 169€
All figurines ship in raw, unpainted resin. If you want a piece that is ready to display, the hand-painting option is available on human figurines in 150mm (129€) and 180mm (169€), paint included in the price.
This is a classic finish: main tones, contrasts, a clean result. It is the right choice if you do not paint yourself and want to put the figurine straight into the display case. This option is not available on the 54 and 110mm sizes, nor on busts and pets.
The budget alternative: print it yourself
Do you own a 3D printer? You can also download your figurine's OBJ file with textures and print it at home. Keep in mind that these files are AI-generated: they may need cleanup in a 3D tool or differ from the expected result. Print profiles are provided (0.4 nozzle / 0.12 layer and 0.2 nozzle / 0.06 layer) to get you started on the right foot. The details of this option are on the Pricing page.
Shipping costs and timing: what to plan for
Shipping costs are added to the figurine's price and calculated at checkout. We deliver with tracking to France, Belgium, Switzerland and a dozen other countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
As for lead times, your figurine is printed on demand and then shipped within 10 business days after the 3D model is validated. If it is a gift with a fixed date, order 2 to 3 weeks before the big day.
