A painting service, from photo to finished figurine
Most custom figurines on the market ship raw: you have to source primer, acrylic paints, brushes — and dozens of hours. With the Minivatar painting service, you order your figurine as usual and simply tick the painted option. Everything else happens in our French workshop: 14K SLA resin printing, sanding, priming, hand-painting, protective varnish.
The result is nothing like the full-color "sandstone" 3D prints offered elsewhere: here, colors are brushed onto a smooth resin surface, with real contrast between tones — skin, hair, clothing, accessories.
How we paint your figurine
- Priming: the resin is primed so the paint bonds properly
- Base coats: each area receives its main tone, taken from your photo
- Contrast: shading and highlights bring out the face and the folds of the clothing
- Varnish: a final varnish protects the paint over time
