54mm Figurines: Scaled for Your Tabletop Games and Wargames
Your character has been around for years. They have a name, a backstory, a character sheet filled out in pencil and deeds your table still talks about. Yet on the board, they are represented by a generic token or a borrowed miniature. Minivatar's 54mm format fixes exactly that: a figurine of you or your hero, printed in HD resin, that sits in the middle of your games without looking out of place.
A scale made for the game table
The 54mm is the smallest of our four formats, and it is the one built for players. It is compatible with the usual scales of your Warhammer, D&D or Pathfinder games: placed next to your other miniatures, yours blends in naturally, whether on a battle grid or a terrain piece.
This is scale compatibility, not a license: at Minivatar, you create your own character in one of the 15+ styles in the library, from Knight to Cyberpunk, Mage, Orc or Barbarian. Your hero is unique, belongs to you, and holds their own on any table.
Your face or your imagination
There are two ways to create your gaming figurine:
- Photo Mode: upload a photo of yourself, the AI detects your features and applies them to the chosen style. It is you, as a miniature adventurer.
- Imagination Mode: no photo, just a free text description. Perfect for giving a body to a character who only exists in your head or on your sheet.
And if no style in the library matches your character, Custom Mode lets you describe their universe freely while keeping the face from your photo.
One detail that matters for a whole party: each figurine represents a single person. To equip your entire group, count one figurine per player. And your photo is deleted after generation, it is only used to create your figurine.
Which render to pick at this size
At 54mm, very small details like thin glasses or small jewelry are simplified by the AI to guarantee a clean print. Three renders are available:
- Simplified: bright, solid colors, 5 colors max. The smart pick if you plan to paint it yourself to match your army.
- Chibi: big round head and smooth surfaces, perfect as a table mascot that makes the whole group smile.
- Complex: fine textures and gradients, for painters who enjoy a challenge even at a small size.
Your dog or cat can join the party too: animal figurines exist in 54mm, with 6 styles including Knight and Mystic. A campaign familiar, truer than life.
HD resin, not kit plastic
Every figurine is printed on demand in SLA resin in our French workshop. The surface quality of HD resin is nothing like the plastic of mass-produced miniatures: the details of the style stand out, even at 54mm.
Your figurine arrives in raw resin, ready to paint or to play with as is. Painters can match it to the rest of their collection; everyone else can put it straight on the table.
Price and timing before your next session
The 54mm is our most accessible format: 18€, shipping not included and calculated at checkout. As for lead times, you see a 2D preview in under 3 minutes, the 3D model is prepared within 24 business hours after validation, then your figurine ships within 10 business days. If you want it for a specific session or the start of a new campaign arc, order 2 to 3 weeks ahead to be safe.
